Description
Holidays make therapy skills more fun to work on. This leprechaun cutting activity is sure to be a fun way to get children to work on their fine motor and cutting skills. Everything you need except the scissors is included in this download.
Leprechauns are so fun for the pre-k and kindergarten age level. Using these fun printables make it look less like you’re working on a therapy skill and more like you’re having fun.
Scissor skills are needed to do things like hold a pencil, fork, or paintbrush. It’s also great for visual tracking which uses both sides of the brain. You can easily see why scissor skills are important to work on with young children.
Now be sure to get the right scissors for your child. Both my husband and I are right handed. My children are left handed. Who knows how that happens? I did not know that there were left handed scissors for many years. Yeah, sometimes I’m not the brightest crayon in the box.
Even if you don’t need cutting practice, this leprechaun cutting activity is a fun addition to your St. Patrick’s Day activities!
