Description
Long term goals are important for everyone, autism or not. It helps to have a plan to know where to spend money, time, and resources. The Autism Action Plan helps you do just that in an organized planner.
Set 10 year, 5 year, and 1 year plans in one neat folder. Having achievable short as well as long term goals is important so you know what you’re aiming for. A dream is a goal without a plan. Stop dreaming about where your autistic child will be 10 years from now and get planning.
The Autism Action Plan will help you to create an individualized goal specific roadmap for your child with autism. Think of it as your at home IEP but you put it together. Don’t homeschool? Fill it out and share with your academic team so you’re all working on the same goals.
There is space for:
- important info about your child
- 10 year road map
- current goals
- short term planning
- mid goal planning
- long term planning
You can have several different action plans going at once. Make one for educational goals, therapy goals, or life goals. The possibilities are endless. Each plan works on different aspects of your child’s life making it well rounded.
Can’t think of any big hairy goals for your child or think he’s too young? Think again. When Logan was 4 years old, his 10 year goal was to be able to eat, dress, and bathe independently. Considering he was non verbal, still drank from a sippy cup, and had a pacifier still, it was a big hairy goal for him.
Dream big!
