Using traditions like manger hunts are very useful for working on long term memory issues. You can use these traditions like Nativity Bingo to help teach your child how memories can be triggered by sights, sounds, and activities. This helps them to recognize what memories actually are when they have them. A crucial part of solving memory issues is teaching your kids to recognize them.

This Nativity Bingo Set has 8 bingo cards and a calling card. We don’t use the calling card when we are on the manger hunt. When we play at home, it comes in handy.

I prefer to laminate both the bingo cards as well as the calling card so it lasts all season. I pass out dry erase markers to the children to mark their cards. In the car, they can use the dry erase markers  to draw on the windows when we’re done playing. It’s a win-win for everyone.
