Honey bees, those elusive creatures we so seldom see any more, must come from somewhere, right? I mean, beekeepers get their bees from… another beekeeper or something. A bee zoo?
I was driving down the freeway the other day, and was passed by this truck.

Those, friends, are beehives. Hundreds of them.

Wondering why there’s netting on that truck?

I wish the photos could do this thing justice. You see what looks like dirt on the boxes.
It’s not. And you can’t see all the bees on the OUTSIDE of the netting.
Or the ones flying all over around the truck. I just wish you could see it.
It was so surprising that I very quickly tossed my purse at my son and had him dig out my camera to take pictures of it.
All I’ve got to say is I hope that truck driver gets hazard pay!
