Another week in the books! That should be an accomplishment in itself. The week after an awesome vacation is always hard. We managed to muddle through it though. Sometimes that has to be enough.
We trudged through our usual lessons while doing a mountain of laundry. That was the jist of our week. It’s hard to motivate children when you aren’t motivated. Our normal schedules resumed so dance 3 days a week, church, doctor, blah blah blah. It was a pretty normal week .
We had a field trip set for Friday to see the Adventures of Homer P. Pigg . It’s a play about the Civil War. Unfortunately there was a huge accident that shut down I4 . We never made it to the theater as traffic didn’t move until after the play was nearly over. Instead we spent the day at Hollywood Studios seeing some shows & doing the Animation Station area. Madison loves doing art lessons at Disney.
We started reading Amon’s Adventure: A Family Story for Easter. It’s by the same author of the wonderful Advent series Jotham’s Journey: A Storybook for Advent. We started on Ash Wednesday which gives us plenty of time to read it before Easter as well as take some time off for when we go to Baltimore in March.
Pretty boring in all for us. That can be a good thing too!
Just a reminder that this is the weekly wrap up for 2/16 -2/20/15
