Don’t ‘Redshirt’-Homeschool!

I read an article today and I felt that I needed to respond to it with a different perspective. I know that as a parent with young children, the thought of them going to kindergarten was just a given. Most of us just don’t think about any other options, because there really AREN’T many options. Skipping kindergarten? Holding them out a year to let them mature a bit first? Both are viable options, but they aren’t the only ones.
