Description
The days before Christmas can be excruciating for our autistic kids who have no concept of time. This advent calendar is a great way to do random acts of kindness (RAK) and count down the days at the same time.
Laminate it then hang on the fridge. I let my child put a magnet on the day after we finish the random act of kindness . This way he can visualize how much longer until Christmas. The best part is that you’re also doing things for other people which helps to remind little people that it’s not all about them.
I also circle his birthday on it so he can see when his birthday is. It’s like two uses in one. Multi tasking at it’s finest! Work smarter not harder
