Family camping trips are a great way to spend time with each other and nature. Picture the scene: the kids all packed into the mini-van or SUV along with the extra large tent that no longer fits completely inside its carrying case, sleeping bags, cooler laden with ice and drinks, folding chairs, lantern, cook stove, dry foods, pillows, rain tarp, changes of clothing, outdoor sports equipment like badminton or horseshoes and so forth.
Arrival at the campground shows that they’ve raised the site fees and now charge a daily parking fee as well. The gate keeper informs is quite helpful and announces he has only one site left for the weekend. Something about highway robbery comes to mind.
