Learning about pirates is one of our favorite things to do here in Autismland. It’s my favorite ride at Walt Disney World so it’s not a surprise there. This pirate flag puffy paint flag is a great way to teach your kids about the Jolly Roger in a hands on fun way.

Items Needed For Pirate Flag With Puffy Paint
- 1 cup glue
- 1 to 2 cups shaving cream (not gel), depending on how fluffy you want the paint
- Food coloring (for color), optional
- Essential oils (for fragrance), optional
- Glitter (for sparkle), optional
- Construction paper, cardstock or paper plate
- Jolly Roger outline

Instructions For Pirate Flag With Puffy Paint
- In a large bowl, whisk together glue and shaving cream until combined.
- If desired, add food coloring, essential oil, or glitter and stir to distribute,
- Allow the child to paint with paint brushes, sponges, or cotton swabs.
- Sprinkle the paint with additional glitter and allow it to dry.
