Sometimes I can honestly say I LOVE THE INTERNET! I’ve been searching and searching for lit study guides for my 7th & 9th graders for next year, and I’m simply amazed at everything that is available, for free, online. I thought I’d share my finds, because they are really too good to pass by without bookmarking! I’ll add more to this list as I come across good ones.
Spark Notes They have quite an extensive SAT prep section that is worth looking at. The lit guides are great too. Many also have the full text of the book right there online.
Web English Teacher Has so many study guides I could never hope to list half! Also has study guides about the AUTHORS. Lots of good things here.
Glencoe Literature Worksheets and graphic organizers are included in these lit lessons! Very nice!
From what I can tell, the only Christian literature study guides available are by purchase only, through publishers such as Bob Jones, Total Language Plus, and Progeny Press. I will continue to look, and if I find any online guides from a Christian worldview I will post them with bells and whistles! 🙂
