Today is Logan’s 16th birthday! Seriously , 16. When did that happen? Seems like yesterday he was the sweet little baby in the first picture. Now he’s a towering giant of a young man who loves God and his family immensely. The last 16 years have been an amazing roller coaster ride of emotions and tough work. Above all, I am glad I didn’t listen to that crazy doctor who told me when you were four to find a group home for you before I got attached as you were forever lost in autism. Thank you Jesus for blessing me with Logan! He’s living proof that miracles do exist and to never give up hope!
Today’s festivities started with lunch with Aunt Tracy and the Lafler girls at Logan’s favorite restaurant , Ling’s Buffet. Then a quick trip home to see Dad before he went to work so he could celebrate with Logan too. A great way to celebrate was a present , of course! Off to Theatre Winter Haven to see a play about Helen Keller, The Miracle Worker. Finally, a trip to Starbucks to get a venti Peppermint Mocha iced coffee to take to church. Sure was a fun but busy day! Happy birthday Logan!
