An Edwardian Fashion Show Aboard The Titanic Giveaway ******Closed******

Doesn’t that sound amazing?   I have been blessed to have been invited as a blogger to visit  The Titanic Experience on International Drive in Orlando to see a fashion show from the International Academy of Design and Technology.  Plus I get to bring a guest!  You should have seen the look on Michael’s face when I mentioned that I was bringing Madison. It was quite hilarious!  A bonus is that they are giving two tickets to one of my readers as well!  How awesome is that?

“A Titanic Runway: Edwardian Style Revisited” SPECIAL EVENT INVITITAION

Titanic The Experience TO CO-HOST FASHION SHOW NOVEMBER 6th AT 3:00 p.m.

International Academy of Design and Technology students create Edwardian-inspired garments for fashion show

Titanic The Experience, an interactive exhibition on Orlando, is co-hosting “A Titanic Runway: Edwardian Style Revisited” with students from International Academy of Design and Technology on November 6 at the R.M.S. Titanic edutainment museum on I-Drive from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Students have been creating their garments throughout the semester for the “Project Runway” style competition. Students have been given the criteria to craft one garment, inspired by the Edwardian-style popular in the early 1900s when the R.M.S Titanic set sail bound for New York. The fashion show will take place on the replicated Grand Staircase within the Exhibition, the perfect backdrop for the fashion show 101 years in the making.

Guest judges will be providing feedback to the students regarding garment construction, interpretation of theme and design innovation. Guest judges include Allison Walker, entertainment reporter for Central Florida News 13 and Sven Bode, Publisher for Orlando Style Magazine.

ABOUT US:

Titanic The Experience reopened in January 2012 after undergoing extensive enhancements and renovations under the new owner, Premier Exhibitions and RMS Titanic, Inc.  Among the additions, 100 authentic artifacts recovered from the wreck site of Titanic were added, in celebration of the 2012 Centennial anniversary of the sinking of Titanic. The second largest piece of Titanic ever recovered, a two ton section of the Ship’s hull, is now the centerpiece of this interactive Exhibition.  Titanic The Experience is located in a 20,000 square foot museum quality space on International Drive.  The Exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the legendary Titanic like never before.  Trained actors in period costume depicting famous passengers from the Ship lead guided tours through the Exhibition’s 17 galleries complete with full-scale re-creations of the Titanic’s most famous rooms, including her Grand Staircase, First Class Parlor Suite, Boilers and Promenade Deck.  More information about the Exhibition can be found by visiting: www.TitanicTheExperience.com/Orlando
